The patient has correct facial features and beautiful expressive eyes; however her nose is wide and a little bifid. On the picture in profile, we can see a high nasal bridge and the bump of the nose that in its form looks more masculine. Nasolabial folds are a bit small for this patient, while the tip of the nose is long. During the surgery the height of the nasal bridge was reduced in the nasal septum.
Lateral osteotomy, cartilage remodeling and creation of new nose tip relief were performed. As a result of the rhinoplasty there was a decrease in length of the nose, increase of the nasolabial folds, and creation of an attractive feminine profile “with a little flexure”. Thus, the nose that gave rough features to the face before the surgery got perfect proportions and now, along with the eyes, enhances the patient’s beauty.
On the photo of the next patient (before rhinoplasty) we can see a wide, divided nasal tip. The correlation of the beaked nose, “blunt” tip and curved line of the nostrils, gives the nose a rapacious look.
The photo of the profile indicates the bump of the nasal bridge. During the plastic surgery a lateral osteotomy, nasal bridge hump removal and an enlargement of the nasolabial folds were performed. The correction of the nose shape required a more complicated surgery for the elimination of width and abnormalities as well as sculpturing a sharp nasal tip. As a result of the rhinoplasty, our patient received a pretty profile with an elegant and nice nasal tip and acquired model looks and features.
